JENNY CASE ON TV; Crimewatch plea.

Byline: James Moncur

THE hunt for the killer of 80-year-old Jenny Methven will feature on Crimewatch tonight - a month after the murder.

A film crew spent two days at Jenny's cottage last week to prepare for the five-minute appeal.

Jenny's son David, 57, found her on February 20 when he returned from work to her home near Forteviot, Perthshire. She had been bludgeoned to death.

BLUDGEONED Jenny The pensioner was last known to be alive at around 10.30am that day when she ended a phone conversation, saying she could hear a vehicle reversing in to her drive. The scene will be re-enacted as part of the Crimewatch appeal.

More than 80 officers have been working full-time on the case. Crimewatch is on BBC1 tonight at 9pm.
