JEFF BARTLETT NAMED NEWS CHIEF FOR GROUP W STATIONS IN PHILADELPHIA

 PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Jeff Bartlett, currently news director at WBZ-TV in Boston, will join the Group W stations in Philadelphia -- KYW-TV, KYW Newsradio and WMMR-FM -- as director of news programming for all three stations on Jan. 1, it was announced today.
 Bartlett will replace Scott Herman who has been promoted to vice president and general manager of Group W's WINS Radio in New York effective Jan. 1, also.
 Bartlett has been with WBZ-TV since July 1992. While at WBZ, Bartlett was instrumental in the integration of the radio and television stations there, a process now underway in Philadelphia.
 Previously, he was a senior account executive at Audience Research & Development (AR&D) in Dallas, one of the country's largest television news consulting firms, where he was responsible for researching and developing news strategies for TV stations across the country.
 Prior to Dallas, Bartlett held a variety of news positions including assistant news director at WTVJ-TV in Miami and news director at KTUL-TV in Tulsa, Okla., and WGUN-TV in Tucson, Ariz. He has also served as consultant to Group W Productions.
 KYW-TV is the NBC affiliate in Philadelphia and is owned by Group W Television, Inc. KYW Newsradio and WMMR are Group W Radio, Inc. stations.
