JAMES W. HOPP APPOINTED TO VICE PRESIDENT AT BDM

 MCLEAN, Va., Jan. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- BDM Federal, Inc. (BDM), announced the appointment of James W. Hopp to vice president, Information Systems Engineering, at the company's McLean office. Hopp is responsible for the direction and management of over 90 employees involved in the development and integration of large information systems for a number of federal agencies -- the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Defense Logistics Agency and the Department of Energy -- and international customers.
 Hopp joined BDM after 30 years of military service, retiring as a major general and as director of supply, headquarters, U.S. Air Force. Hopp's professional experience included directing operations of successively demanding positions at the staff level and in field operations from small organizations to command of a 20,000 person industrial facility and air base. He also managed the development of the Air Force's Logistics Management System Modernization Program. He is a graduate of the University of Southern California, Los Angeles (M.B.A. in Industrial Management).
