JAMES R. COFFEE NAMED ARCO GENERAL COUNSEL; SUCCEEDED AS AOGC GENERAL ATTORNEY BY STEPHEN MOLINA; INGRAM LEE NAMED SENIOR LITIGATION ATTORNEY

 LOS ANGELES, June 30 /PRNewswire/ -- James R. Coffee has been appointed an ARCO deputy general counsel, effective July 1, it was announced today by ARCO Senior Vice President and General Counsel Francis X. McCormack.
 Coffee, 58, succeeds Henry H. Paige, 65, who is retiring from ARCO after 23 years of service.
 A graduate of Texas Christian University and the University of Texas School of Law, Coffee has been an ARCO attorney for 20 years. He served as general attorney for Dallas-based ARCO Oil and Gas Co., ARCO's Lower 48 oil and gas exploration and production division, since 1985.
 Coffee's responsibilities will include the legal units in all of ARCO's operating companies.
 Succeeding Coffee as general attorney for AOGC is Stephen Molina, AOGC's senior litigation attorney since 1985. Molina is a 1970 graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and a 1974 graduate of Southern Methodist University School of Law.
 Succeeding Molina as AOGC's senior litigation attorney is Ingram Lee III, a 1983 graduate of Southern Methodist University School of Law.
