 JAMES BARONE NAMED SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT AT S&T BANK
 INDIANA, Pa., April 28 /PRNewswire/ -- James Barone has joined


S&T Bank as a senior vice president, it was announced today.
 Barone's responsibilities include managing the fixed income and equity portfolios of S&T Bank and S&T Investment Company, Inc. and investor relations.
 Barone comes to S&T with over 20 years of experience in the investment field. Most recently, he was senior vice president-corporate investments at Integra Financial Corporation, Pittsburgh. Other positions he has held include vice president-investments at Union National Bank, Pittsburgh, and McDowell National Bank, Sharon, Pa.
 Barone was graduated from the Northwestern University Graduate School of Management with a master's degree in business administration and Allegheny College with a bachelor of arts degree in economics. He has also attended the ABA National School of Bank Investments, the ABA Graduate School of Financial and Funds Management and the Pennsylvania Bankers Association's Trust School. Barone is also a chartered financial analyst.
 He and his wife, Pat, plan to relocate to the Indiana area with their three children, Christy, Jenna and Matthew.
 S&T Bank, the principal subsidiary of S&T Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ-NMS: STBA), operates 32 branches in Indiana, Jefferson, Armstrong, Westmoreland, Allegheny and Clearfield counties.
