Collins Aerospace Systems, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX), has announced it has signed a USD 200m FlightSense agreement with Japan Airlines (JAL) to service air management and electric power components, the company said.

The five-year agreement with JAL, which builds on a 14-year relationship between the two organizations, now includes a total of 51 Boeing 787 aircraft through 2025.

Collins Aerospace will continue to support JAL's in-house repair capabilities including test equipment, technical support, and personalized reliability enhancement programs.

Collins Aerospace, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX), offers technologically advanced and intelligent solutions for the global aerospace and defense industry.

United Technologies Corp., based in Farmington, Connecticut, provides high-technology systems and services to the building and aerospace industries.
