JAILED TRUANCY MOTHER FREED.
PATRICIA Amos, the mother jailed for allowing her teenage daughters to play truant, was released early from prison yesterday.The 43-year-old, who was jailed for 60 days by magistrates in Banbury, Oxon, two weeks ago, was freed after her sentence was cut to 28 days at Oxford Crown Court. But she was warned she would be returned to jail if she allowed her children to continue to miss school.
Amos had been jailed for allowing her teenage daughters, Emma, 15, and Jackie, 13, to miss lessons over a two-year period.
