JAGUAR REPORTS HIGHEST SALES FOR THREE YEARS

MAHWAH, N.J., Jan. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Jaguar Cars 1993 U.S. sales of 12,734 are up by 47% over 1992. This represents Jaguar's best sales year since 1990. In Canada, Jaguar sales improved by 8% in 1993 in a prestige market which declined by 14%.
Sales in the U.S. for December 1993 were 1,376, 28% higher than December 1992, and this result caps a strong selling year with Jaguar dealers enjoying improved showroom traffic and a very positive reception to Jaguar's 1994 models.
Jaguar says its market-leading Dream Lease package, plus its unconditional 30-Day Money Back Guarantee, have helped convince customers that Jaguar is a smart buy in today's highly competitive luxury car market.
The president of Jaguar's North American Operations, Michael H. Dale, said: "Naturally, we are pleased with the 1993 result because it reflects on the great strides we have made in improving the quality of our cars and demonstrates Jaguar's competitiveness in this tough market."
