JACOBS SELECTED FOR U.S. AIR FORCE'S AIR COMBAT COMMAND CONTRACT

 PASADENA, Calif., July 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today that it was selected along with the prime contractor, Ecology and Environment, to negotiate a one-year contract with four one-year options with the U.S. Air Force Air Combat Command at Langley AFB, Va.
 This is a task order contract with a ceiling of $100 million.
 If negotiations are successful, Jacobs and Ecology and Environment will provide environmental compliance and analysis services for sites throughout the continental United States as well as limited overseas sites.
 Twenty-six Air Force bases throughout the United States have been identified for numerous services including preparing Environmental Impact Statements, Environmental Assessment and Environmental Baseline Surveys. The team will also conduct environmental compliance and management program audits, provide base closure environmental assistance and conduct environmental compliance surveys and studies.

 Jacobs is also currently working on Department of Defense projects for the U.S. Air Force's Installation Restoration Program (IRP), U.S. Navy's Comprehensive Long-Term Environmental Action (CLEAN) contract and U.S. Army's Toxic and Hazardous Materials Agency (USATHAMA) total environmental program support contract at military installations nationwide.
