J-Lo's not in Vogue.
Byline: SHARON MILLARSINGER Jennifer Lopez was dumped from the front cover of Vogue because she looked too down market, it was claimed yesterday.
The Latin beauty did a three-day fashion shoot for the style magazine and was supposed to appear on the front page.
But Vogue editor Anna Wintour reportedly thought the pictures did not look classy enough. Details of the alleged snub for the December 1999 cover emerged yesterday as Lopez's legal row with former manager Benny Medina continued.
The star has accused Medina of misappropriating funds and blames him for keeping her off the front cover.
A source told the New York Post: "Jennifer has always wanted to be on the cover of Vogue.
She seems to think Benny was once snubbed by Vogue writer Andre Leon Talley, so he refused all requests for Lopez to be in the magazine.
"Lopez was supposed to be 'The Millennium Girl' and it was going to be huge. But then nothing happened."
