Ivanishvili Sees no Prospect for Georgia's Joining Eurasian Union.

Tbilisi. There are no prospects for Georgia's integration into the Eurasian Union yet - Georgian Premier, Bidzina Ivanishvili,

stated at the meeting with journalists on Wednesday, September 4.

"I am looking at it with attention and we are studying it. At this stage we have no position at all. If in perspective we see that it

is interesting for our country, then why not; but at this stage we have no position," Ivanishvili stressed.

The Eurasian Union project envisages setting up a union of independent states with the common political, economic, military,

customs, humanitarian and cultural area. The Presidents of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan signed a declaration on the Eurasian

economic integration - 'a route map' of integration process, the final goal of which is to declare the establishment of the Eurasian

economic union.
