Italy visa centre moves to Downtown Dubai.

Cox and Kings Global Services (CKGS) said its Italy visa application centre has been relocated to 48 Burj Gate building in Downtown area, just a few steps away from the Dubai Mall metro station, on Sheikh Zayed Road.

A 100 per cent subsidiary of the Cox and Kings Group, CKGS is a specialist business process outsource organisation which focuses on serving consular sections of Diplomatic Missions.

CKGS recently won the mandate to process Italian visas in Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, and Umm al-Quwain on behalf of the Consulate General of Italy in UAE.

The new visa application centre aims at serving customers better with ample visitor parking space and a larger seating area, said a statement from CKGS.

"The opening of the new visa application centre is an important step in showcasing our continuous commitment towards better service for people traveling to Italy. It is aimed at reducing the time spent by the applicants at the centre, ensuring a seamless submission process," remarked CEO Sanjay Bhaduri.

Consul General of Italy Giovanni Favilli said: "We are committed to providing a visa application process that is stress free, clear and timely. For many travellers the application centre is the first point of contact with our country and we want it to be as welcoming as Italy is."

"Effectiveness is also very important. Since we started our cooperation with CKGS in July 2013, we have nearly doubled the amount of applications processed compared with the same period in 2012," he added.

In the emirates, CKGS also carries out the registration process for the Emirates Identity Program, said the company in is statement.

In India, it renders services for Thailand Consulate General in Western India, Dubai Visas (Dnata), Royal Norwegian Embassy in India and Embassy of Japan in India. CKGS also provides Attestation services on behalf of the Ministry of External Affairs in India, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
