It's water terror at the Wildcats.

IT was just typical of Huddersfield Giants fans to pose a terror threat at their recent derby showdown with Wakefield Trinity Wildcats.

Fancy trying to bring bottled water into the Belle Vue ground - have the people of Huddersfield never heard of aqua phobia? To put it simply, it is a well known fact that cats do not like water!

Having lived and gone to school in Wakefield I can also vouch for the fact that there are probably a number of humans in the city who are also averse to water - though a deodorant shortage might also be a factor in the evidence I would use to back up this theory.

As far as matters specifi-cally appertaining to Wakefield Trinity go, I can also reveal that it is not just a fear of water but also other liquids.

Ever since winning promotion to Super League in 1998 the Wildcats have studiously avoided doing anything that may lead to having to spray champagne over one another.
