It's the brother of all sibling rivalries; WORLD OF FOOTBALL.

Byline: By KEVIN McALLION

TRIVIA buffs will be interested to learn THREE Australian brothers took part in an Asian Champions League clash last week.

Football has seen plenty of famous siblings down the years - such as Jack and Bobby Charlton, Frank and Ronald de Boer, and Phil and Gary Neville.

But the Griffiths family treated fans to a much rarer sight as Ryan and Joel teamed up to heap pain on brother Adam by helping Beijing Guoan beat Newcastle Jets 2-0.

Ryan scored the opener and Joel set up the second as the former Jets stars came back to haunt their old club.

It was the perfect way to settle a family affair but killjoy Beijing boss Lee Jang-soo, living up to his Iron Face nickname, moaned: "I wasn't happy with the brothers' performance. They only gave 70 to 80 per cent of their best."

Maybe their mum told them to stop ganging up on poor wee Adam.
