It's talent that wins trophies.

I'D like to thank Mr Davison for writing to your page in support of Kenny Surtees.

If money was all it took to create successful sides, then why have managers - such as Brendan Rodgers, who spent in excess of PS200m at Liverpool and Andre Villas Boas who spent heavily at Chelsea - been found wanting.

Their trophy haul does not weigh up when you compare it to money spent.

Talent wins trophies. Finance does help, but only when spent on the right players.

I'd also like to point out that Mourinho was relatively successful at another Portuguese club before he joined Porto.

Over 'ere Mr Davison, on me 'ead!
