It's like a Jules Verne theme park; VOICE OF THE NORTH.
I AM indebted indeed to David Turnbull for increasing my knowledge of the vexed subject of what is left after oil is extracted from under the ground (Voice of the North, May 15).
I'm now enthralled at the notion that "centre earth" is, in effect, a huge sponge. If only I'd been taught like this at school. Ally this to Peter Scargill's gas creating bugs and it's like a Jules Verne theme park down there.
