The North-East's Premier Business Event comes to the Telewest Arena next week with the aim of helping your business to grow and succeed.

Business North East is a free event, in association with The Journal, on October 1 and 2. It will bring the region's business community together, face-to-face under one roof, offering the perfect platform to network and do business.

More than 110 businesses will be exhibiting with thousands of services and products, covering every sector, from finance to website design, hotels to training, food & drink to marketing - in fact everything a business needs to develop and grow.

You'll also find plenty of prize draws, competitions and discounts, including the chance to win a case of wine, pounds 500 for your business and a night's stay at Matfen Hall Hotel.

The Business Advice Zone is a one stop shop for advice that can help your business find the guidance it needs.

Sponsors of this area include Bank of Scotland, Barclays Bank plc, Business Link, DTIU, Inland Revenue, Lloyds TSB Banking, School of Flexible Learning, Tenon, Tyne & Wear Development Company and The Big Small Business Initiative (BSBI).

The Creative Village will showcase companies who have creative flair, including media, design and crafts. Exhibitors include Cohesion - Glass Network, Engrave-IT, Fuse Box Design and The Sponsors Club for Arts & Business.

The New Business Sector, sponsored by One NorthEast, features companies that have been in business under a year.

The Service Network Village, sponsored and created by Service Network has many of its key members exhibiting. The Mind & Body Zone is the perfect place to chill out and relax.

The County Durham Village, sponsored by the County Durham Development Company, is for companies that are exclusively based in County Durham who are looking to do business with the region.

Meet The Buyer, sponsored by City of Sunderland, is a chance to do some serious business and sourcing new contracts. Business North East is offering exclusive 20-minute appointments with important and well-known buyers from across the public sector.
