It's Grimmy UP NORTH LONDON... SO RADIO 1 DJ IS MOVING TO [euro]2.4M PAD IN HIP EAST END.

Byline: Clemmie Moodie's 3am with Ashleigh Rainbird-Deputy 3am Editor and Hannah Hope

LIVING in North London's notorious Primrose Hill used to always be about debauched parties and rumoured bed-hopping.

But now it is dull as dishwater, so uber cool resident Nick Grimshaw is planning to pack up his vintage bags and move East.

The Radio 1 Breakfast Show host, 29, is set to splash out nearly PS2million on a five-bedroom house in hipsterville Hackney.

The notorious Primrose Hill set - Kate Moss, Sadie Frost, Liam Gallagher and Jude Law - are all in their 40s now and more interested in staying in with the kids than raving. So it is understandable if Grimmy wants to be a bit nearer to his younger mates.

He has been eyeing up a luxury four-storey property, with super-trendy wooden floors and exposed brick walls and a roomy back garden. The Victorian house doesn't need any work done as its current owner has spent tens of thousands of pounds renovating it, so Grimmy can move straight in.

He has even taken his beloved Jack Russell, the imaginatively named Puppy Power Forever, to visit his future home to see if the mutt likes it. How considerate.

I imagine she will be a fan as Grimmy can take her for walkies nearby in Victoria Park and London Fields.

Grimmy will have plenty of fun neighbours to hang with - his BFF fashion designer Henry Holland lives down the road and he will be on the same street as the reclusive pop star Emeli Sande.

Also living in the area, should Grimmy run out of milk, is Shame actor Michael Fassbender, 007 star Ben Whishaw, The Feeling lead vocalist Dan Gillespie Sells, Keira Knightley and her Klaxons hubby James Righton, E4 presenter Rick Edwards and Alexa Chung.

He has already been spotted in local night spots Alibi and Oslo.

The only question left to ask Grimmy is, when's the housewarming?
