Israeli measures hinder Palestinians' daily life.

Israeli measures hinder Palestinians' daily life Ramallah, Sept. 26 (Petra) - The Israeli celebrations of the Jewish "Day of Atonement" and the strict procedures of the Israeli occupation forces have hindered the movement of Palestinian citizens in the occupied city of Jerusalem.

Palestinian sources on Wednesday said that Israeli authorities closed yesterday several major military crossings that link the center of the city with the suburbs and neighborhoods and closed a number of the city's main streets.

"They also tightened their military ring within the walls of the old town, especially beside the Buraq Wall and the in-town settlement outposts," sources added.

Israeli procedures started yesterday evening and will continue until Wednesday evening.
