Israeli Army Kills Palestinian Youth in Cold Blood outside Jerusalem.
JERUSALEM, July 27, 2015 (WAFA) Israeli soldiers shot and killed in cold blood a Palestinian youngster during a raid before dawn Monday on Qalandia refugee camp, just north of Jerusalem, according to local sources.
Sources said an Israeli army force broke into the camp in the early morning hours and raided the house of Mohammad Abu Latifa, 20, who was present at that time on the rooftop. The soldiers, according to the Israeli Walla news, attempted to detain Abu Latifa and shot at his legs when he reportedly attempted to flee the premises, causing him serious injuries before he died of his wounds hours later.
However, family sources dismissed the Israeli allegations, saying the Israeli soldiers shot him in the legs before they tied his hands with electric wires and detained him alive. Hours later, the family said, their son was handed over a dead body to the Red Cross, concluding that he was killed during detention outside the camp.
Following the incident, confrontations broke out in the camp between the Israeli army and local Palestinians, angered by Abu Latifas cold-blooded murder.
The Israeli soldiers fired teargas canisters and stun grenades towards local youth who threw stones at the soldiers in return.
This cold-blooded incident is the second in less than one week. Last Thursday, a Palestinian man was killed in cold blood by Israeli troops in the town of Beit Ummar.
The man, Falah Abu Maria, 53, was killed when Israeli soldiers shot three live bullets at his chest inside his house when he attempted to provide first aid to his two sons, who were earlier shot and injured by the attacking force.
