Isolated rain, thunderstorm expected at upper parts of country.

ISLAMABAD -- Isolated rain with thunderstorm is expected at upper parts of the country while cold and dry weather is expected over most parts of the country during next 24 hours.

Met office reported here on Tuesday that a fresh westerly wave is likely to affect upper parts of the country from Wednesday and would persist during next two days.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa mainly cold and dry weather is expected over most parts and isolated rain-thunderstorm with snow over hills is expected in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar and Kohat divisions.

In Sindh mainly cold and dry weather is expected whereas in Balochistan mainly cold and dry weather is expected, however, isolated rain is expected in Zhob division.

In Kashmir mainly cold and dry weather is expected, however, isolated rain with snow over hills is expected.

In Gilgit-Baltistan mainly cloudy weather is expected with chances of rain/snow at isolated places.

Lowest minimum temperature recorded during last 24 hours remained Kalam, Kalat -04A,C, Malamjabba, Gupis, Skardu, Parachinar -02A,C.

Other Cities Minimum Temperatures recorded as Islamabad 06A,C, Lahore 07A,C, Karachi 15A,C, Peshawar 07A,C, Quetta 00A,C, Murree 04A,C, Muzaffarabad 07A,C, Gilgit 03A,C, Faisalabad 08A,C, Multan 10A,C, Hyderabad 15A,C.
