Islamabad police impound 80 bikes, 8 vehicles.

ISLAMABAD -- Islamabad Capital Territory Police on Saturday impounded 80 bikes and five vehicles during general hold up, a police spokesman said.

Senior police officials of Islamabad directed all heads of police stations to ensure effective security and patrolling measures in their respective areas.

They were directed to take strict action against vehicles being driven without documents and irrelevant persons.

During last 24 hours, Islamabad police impounded 80 bikes and eight vehicles during general hold up.

Black sheets were also removed from four tinted glass vehicles while police also apprehended two absconders from various areas of the city. Police teams also apprehended 23 suspects from various area of the city.

Senior police officials has appreciated the overall performance and further directed to ensure effective policing measures in their respective areas.
