Isaac Mizrahi to debut in upscale Southampton.
Newmark Grubb Knight Frank (NGKF) Retail announced that Xcel Brands, Inc., the parent company of American fashion brand Isaac Mizrahi New York, will debut its first storefront at 44A Main Street in Southampton, N.Y.
Isaac Mizrahi New York will join the highend boutiques, restaurants and galleries that line Main Street in Southampton and make it a chic shopping and dining destination.
The retail location is opening just in time for the summer season as New York's well-heeled travel to the historical villages and hamlets along the southern coast of Long Island known as the Hamptons.
The shop, spanning 1,203 s/f, will offer a large array of products including apparel, fragrance and one-of-a kind handbags.
"Our client wishes to bring Isaac Mizrahi's affordable luxury to his savvy customers with an eye for fashion," said George J. Graf, managing director of NGKF Retail.
"Southampton in the summer offers the perfect, leisurely environment for the brand to introduce its line to appreciative, high-end customers."
Robert D'Loren, Xcel chairman and chief executive officer, said, "We are very excited to debut the Isaac Mizrahi New York pop-up shop in Southampton. For the first time, our customers can truly experience the Isaac Mizrahi brand in its entirety in one location.
"We will use this store for both market and consumer research as we craft our retail rollout plan."
NGKF's Robert Emden and Gary Schwartzman also represented Xcel in the lease transaction, which reflects the first launch phase of the Isaac Mizrahi New York brand under Xcel Brands.
