Is your kid cute enough to win our competition?

THE Gazette is searching for the most adorable infants on Teesside in this year's Cute Kids competition.

Last year 10-month-old Maddison-May Lesley Johnson was crowned winner from hundreds of youngsters who entered our annual contest.

Her delighted mum Shauna Johnson, of Penrith Road, Middlesbrough, cried tears of joy when she heard the news, saying: "I'm absolutely over the moon; I just can't believe it."

Now other youngsters have the chance to compete for the title of Gazette Cute Kids 2015 with one lucky winner being crowned overall winner and scooping a PS350 gift card for intu Metrocentre.

Three other category winners will receive a PS50 gift card each for intu Metrocentre, to spend in any of their 340 shops and restaurants.

Babies, toddlers and children all have the chance to take part over four categories, which are: 0-9 months; 10-18 months; 19-36 months and 3-5 years.

To enter your cute kid into the competition all you need to do is visit, complete a form, and upload a recent photograph of your child. Entries must be made by 5pm on Friday 29th May, 2015. All entries will be printed in one of two special supplements in the Gazette on Tuesday June 16, and Wednesday June 17.

Readers will then be invited to vote and the Top 40 children who receive the most votes will be revealed in the newspaper in the week commencing Monday June 29. The overall winner will be announced in the week commencing Monday July 6. This will be decided by a second round of reader voting, from which the child who gains the most votes from any category will be named the Gazette's Cute Kid 2015.
