Irresponsibility of some dog owners; letters@coventrytelegraph.net Letters.

Here's a conundrum.

If a dog walker were to pick up their pet's faeces in small black bags and then discard back on to the pavement are they guilty of creating litter, that is the inappropriate disposal of the plastic bag, guilty of allowing a dog to foul in a public place or can they be said to be sufficiently anti-social to be graced with both penalties? A few days ago my husband counted six black faecal packages, in a line, resembling a broken necklace adorning one stretch of Cannon Close.

This does not take into account the other little wrapped gifts that he had previously placed into our own rubbish.

Like S Dennis of Beanfield Avenue, (Letters, May 16), we have also had dog faeces put into our brown-lidded bin which we have to try to extricate and dispose.

Bewildering irresponsibility!
