Irish snail farms worth shelling out for.

A TOTAL of 41 Irish farms are growing batches of snails to export to France, it has emerged.
Eight registered escargot businesses were established in seven counties this year and the rest have been set up over the past three years.
Galway and Kildare have five snail farms, while Dublin and Wexford are each home to four of the businesses.
The first commercial snail farm, Gaelic Escargot, was set up in Ireland in 2014 by Eva Milka in Co Carlow.
She said: "We have ideal conditions for snail farming in Ireland - just look in your own back garden.
"We also have an excellent reputation in the food industry, and global warming is actually changing the climate in our favour.
"We had the best season to date last year because of the warm summer and on the continent, around 70 snail farms closed in Spain during last year due to heat waves."
