Iraqi Committee, led by Minister of Justice to observe Wikileaks Documents.

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Iraq's National Security Council has decided on Monday, stemming from its constitutional responsibility, to form a committee, led by the Minister of Justice, with membership of the security ministries to "observe and follow up the documents published by the Wiki leaks Website, according to a statement by the official spokesman of the Iraqi government.

"The National Council, reaffirming suspicions towards the information, cited by Wiki leaks Website about certain security acts, that have been committed in violation of the constitution, it has decided to act with full firmness, seriousness and to account anybody who violates the rights of citizens, being Iraqi or non-Iraqi person," a Council's statement said, adding that "a committee had been formed under leadership of the Justice Minister and membership of security ministries to observe and follow up such documents."

The statement pointed out that: "more than a crisis had taken place towards the foreign troops, that had acted and still acts in Iraq, but our Council calls for looking for preciseness and objectivity in dealing with sensitive issues and reports, that represent a direct accusation, depending on reports that reflect personal viewpoints and analysis, that can't be treated as proven document and evidences."

"The security ministries and bodies had already accounted a large number of their officers and members, who were proven to have committed violence of their responsibilities and causing harm for citizens, through sending them to courts..The Council also reaffirms that the security bodies possess proper mechanisms to collect information and carry out detentions, according to legal cases..And, we don't possess assassination teams, but carry out detentions, which is a normal thing," the statement concluded.
