Iran Produces Interferon Beta 1.

The mass production of human recombinant interferon beta 1 will be started in Iran in the near future. Iran is the third country in the world to produce recombinant Interferon B1, after US and Germany, the Iranian Minister of Health told in the ceremony for unveiling the drug. The drug will be available in drug stores throughout the country by the end of May. Gamma Immunex (recombinant interferon beta 1) is an effective treatment for patients suffering from infectious diseases such as chronic granulomatous and malignant osteopetrosis. 2008/04/14
