Iran Islamic Republic of : Iran offers a new e-mail service to its commercial entities.

Private companies as well as the banks of Iran have started using the country's own created e-mail service.

The new email service of the Islamic Republic has been dubbed as "Chmail", which has been developed by Iran's own "Chaapaar" company. The firm was founded in 2009 by young experts of the Republic.

Following the ban over Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo and a few other foreign e-mail services in Iran, commercial entities have been urged to use Chmail, which is free.

Following two months of testing the new service, over 20,000 people in Iran have registered themselves with it.

Even Russia utilises a similar email service.
