Iran Foreign Minister visits Algeria.

Iran's new foreign minister, Ali Akbar Salehi, on a visit to Algeria, met with his Algerian counterpart Mourad Medelci on Tuesday, ILNA reported.

Salehi arrived Monday for a two-day visit in line with efforts to boost bilateral ties in recent years, , the APS news agency reported said citing the foreign ministry.

The talks follow a meeting in Tehran in November last year of a bilateral commission which signed 10 accords on cooperation in different fields.

Also in November, Algerian Prime Minister Ahmed Ouyahia visited Tehran and held talks with President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on boosting bilateral ties to "correct" the world order.
