Iran, Turkey Boost Cooperation in Housing Sector.

At a meeting held between Iranian Minister of Industries and Mines, Ali Akbar Mehrabian, and Turkish Minister of Housing, Nustafa Demir, the two sides reviewed ways of bilateral cooperation in three fields: standardized housing, industrialized housing and construction materials.

Speaking to reporters on the side line of the meeting, Iranian minister referred to Turkey's rich experience in industrialized housing adding that "we invited Turkish side to make joint investment in Iran to industrialize the country's housing sectors."

Mehrabian also referred to an investment industrial park to be established in Tabriz (capital city of East Azerbaijan Province in Iran), adding that a great number of investors tending to cooperate in the project are Turkish.

He also said that Iran and Turkey have finalized talks on establishment of a joint industrial park in Tabriz and the executive operations will be kicked off in near future.

Mustafa Demir, for his part, announced satisfaction with their negotiations on ways of expanding bilateral ties in Housing sector.

He asked for further expansion of ties between the two countries' private sectors.

He appreciated Iran's achievements and developments in infrastructures, energy and construction sectors.
