Iran's Gas Condensate Exports from South Pars Reached $4.5 Billion.

The managing director of Pars Special Economic Energy Zone (PSEEZ) has said that South Pars gas fields have exported 7.530 million metric tons of gas condensates worth $4.338 billion during the starting 9 months of the current Iranian calendar year.

This shows an increase of 67 percent by weight and 93 percent by value compared with the same period of time last year, Mousa Souri said.

During the above mentioned time, more than 12.230 million tons of petrochemical products including light and heavy linear Polyethylene, gas condensates, Propane, Butane, Benzene and Paraxylene worth $7.22 billion has been exported through Pars Special Economic Zone which shows an increase of 29 percent by value and 52 percent by weight compared with the same period of time last year, he added.

Souri noted that Iran's non-oil products exports have had a tremendous growth this year and said: "during the starting 8 months of the current Iranian calendar year more than 4.5 million tons of non-oil products worth $2.890 billion which were produced in Pars Special Economic Zone has been exported to foreign countries which shows an increase of 15 percent by value compared with the same period last year."
