PurchasePoint.MDI, comarketed by MDI Technologies, Inc., and Millpoint Solutions, provides the capability to efficiently track supplies and ancillary services from the staff member dispensing or providing them down to the resident who receives them, using a handheld bar code scanner that automatically applies the charges to the resident's account. Long-term care facilities can realize significant cost savings, resulting not only from more cost-effective stocking, but also from reduced risk of theft and from capturing charges that were previously lost. By automating the process, facilities improve the accuracy of billing and maximize their reimbursements for care.
