Intersphere Communications launches official Shadow Warrior website.

BLUE BELL, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 7, 1997--Intersphere Communications Ltd. announced Monday that is has launched the official website of GT Interactive Software Corp.'s Shadow Warrior game which is currently under development by 3D Realms Entertainment, the company that created the top-selling PC game, Duke Nukem 3D.

Shadow Warrior is published by GT Interactive. The shareware version of the Shadow Warrior game is due out by the end of April.

The site, found at http://www.shadowwarrior.com/,provides a wealth of information and entertainment packaged into "movie preview" format. Offering a preview of the pulse-stopping, action-packed game which is based on the same game engine as Duke Nukem 3D, visitors can get an inside look at what players can expect from the Shadow Warrior game.

Also within the website, visitors can obtain the latest development information about the game and when it is expected to be released. Visitors can also find links to game specifications and character information.

Other rooms include the Cast (monsters), Crew (game developers), Special Effects (weapons), Reviews (game previews and reviews), Script (game story), Downloads (sound files, shareware), Community Theater (forum), and Screen Shots.

The website is being built in modular fashion and is part of an ongoing promotion for various Shadow Warrior and software platforms which are scheduled to be released by GT Interactive throughout 1997.
