Intersphere Communications Ltd. creates GT Interactive's Duke Nukem 3D official website.

BLUE BELL, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 26, 1996--Intersphere Communications Ltd. announced today that it has launched the second phase of the official website of GT Interactive Software Corp.'s Duke Nukem 3D game, which is currently one of the top-selling PC games in the United States.

GT Interactive recently announced the release of the Duke Nukem 3D Plutonium Pak, which is an add-on addition to the Duke Nukem 3D game. Duke Nukem 3D was developed by 3D Realms Entertainment and is published by GT Interactive.

The site, found at, provides a wealth of information and entertainment packaged into several "rooms." Offering a fully functional armory to defend yourself against intergalactic enemies, visitors need not fear entering the Airlock into the Duke Nukem 3D website. The official Duke Locker Room provides facts about the game's creators and publisher. Enter the Engineering Room to find conduits to FTP Download Sites that contain Duke 3D files, split files, patches and add-on levels. Other rooms include the Cheering Section, Neo News Stand, the Product Preview area, and Nukem Party Headquarters, which hosted the first online voter registration and election for a parody of the 1996 Presidential election.

The site is being built in modular fashion and is part of an ongoing promotion for various Duke Nukem titles and software platforms which are scheduled to be released by GT Interactive in late 1996 and early 1997.
