Internet-ready DVRs.

Speco Technologies of Amityville, New York, has introduced a family of Internet-ready digital video recorders. The DVR-4TN/160, DVR-8TN/160, and DVR-16TN/160, offer MPEG-4, triplex operation that allows simultaneous recording, live viewing, and playback. Special features include programmable recording, automatic copying onto CD/RW or USB flash drive, quick installation. Each 4-channel, 8-channel, or 16-channel Triplex DVR includes a free DDNS server and comes with a standard 160 GB hard drive. The unit can be configured with up to 1.5 terabytes of internal hard drive space and unlimited external storage. A USB 2.0 port is available for copying video clips to a thumb drive. A standard built-in CD/RW or DVD+RW is installed in the front panel and an infrared remote control is included.
