The international debut of Apple's hit new iPad at the weekend have pushed total sales of the tablet computer to over 2 million units, Apple announced today, according to dpa. Apple reached the sales mark just two months after the device was launched in the US. It received its international debut on Friday where long lines formed in the nine countries where it went on sale - Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the U.K . "Customers around the world are experiencing the magic of iPad, and seem to be loving it as much as we do," said Apple CEO Steve Jobs in a statement. "We appreciate their patience, and are working hard to build enough iPads for everyone."
