This tenth edition of the Yearbook on International Peace Operations contains eight articles on combating the trafficking of persons on peace operations; third party liability of international organizations; protection of personnel in peace operations; South African involvement in peace operations; international crimes in the Darfur region of Sudan; international law and the Report of the High-Level UN Panel on Threats, Challenges, and Change; and the UN activities surrounding Iraq's alleged weapons of mass destruction in the run up to the Anglo-American invasion. These articles are followed by summary notes of the proceeding of a conference--organized by the German Red Cross and the Institute for International Law of Peace and Armed Conflict of the Ruhr-U. of Bochum, Germany--on "Post Conflict Resolution: Nation- or State-Building. The text concludes with country-specific chronologies of relevant events of 2003 and 2004.
