International Plaza announces $1.7M in lease transactions.

Seven tenants have committed to lease transactions covering approximately 42,000 rentable square feet at International Plaza at 59th Street (750 Lexington Avenue) reports Charles Steven Cohen, president/CEO of Cohen Brothers Realty Corporation.

Aggregate rentals for the following leases exceed $17 million: * Immuno Clinical Research Corporation, the Austrian pharmaceutical concern, has signed a long term lease covering the entire 19th floor measuring 11,350 rentable square feet. Immuno was represented in the lease transaction by Larry Mintz of Brenner & Lewis * Texas Instruments, represented by Robert Emden and Timothy Gibson of Edward S. Gordon Company, Inc., leased approximately 6,000 square feet on the 17th floor * SGD Glass, the US subsidiary of Saint Goban, the French glass manufacturer, leased approximately 4,000 rentable square feet on the 15th floor and was represented by Arthur Draznin of Harper Lawrence * Petroleos de Venezuela, one of the world's largest oil companies expanded at International Plaza by an additional 7,200 rentable square feet on the 10th floor. Petroleos was represented by Howard Rosen of Wm. A. White/Grubb & Ellis, Inc. * Gail Hayman, the perfume and cosmetics company, represented by James Coleman and Andrew Sachs of Atco Properties, has leased approximately 6,000 rentable square feet on the 16th floor * BMT Commodities represented by Barry Shaw of Williams Real Estate leased approximately 5,000 rentable square feet on the 16th floor * Trans Media leased approximately 3,000 rentable square feet on the 18th floor and was represented by Richard Benowitz of Williamson, Pickett and Gross

Cohen Brothers Realty Corporation Vice Presidents John Monaco and Glenn J. Elliott represented International Plaza in all of the above lease transactions.

International Plaza at 59th Street (750 Lexington Avenue) has attracted the executive offices of firms based in Germany, Japan, Switzerland, Venezuela and Australia.

Units of 2,500 to 34,000 square feet are still available for direct lease.
