International Listening Association.

The International Listening Association was formed in 1979 as a professional organization devoted to promote the study, development, and teaching of effective listening techniques. ILA hold yearly conventions and regional conferences to share information and promote the practice and teaching of effective listening. ILA members join together diverse professions derived from the sciences, government, business, and the arts and media. The International Listening Association is beneficial to anyone who considers listening to be a significant part of communication.
