International Electronics, Inc. Awarded GSA Schedule 84 Contract.

CANTON, Mass. -- International Electronics, Inc. (IEI) (OTCBB: IEIB), a leading manufacturer of electronic access control solutions, announced that it has been awarded a GSA Schedule 84 Contract and that its products are now available on the General Services Administration Schedule.

The GSA Schedule is a government wide procurement vehicle that provides agencies with best value pricing as well as ease of procurement for a multitude of products and services. GSA Schedule 84 includes Total Solutions for Law Enforcement, Security, Facilities Management, Fire, Rescue, and related products. IEI's GSA Schedule is for a period of 5 years. Purchases by government agencies off Schedule 84 totaled $4.5 billion in 2006 with about $200 million in purchases of products in categories in which IEI will participate.
