International - Iran, P5+1 talks start in Baghdad.

NNA - 23/5/2012 - Iran and six global powers( United States, Russia, China, Britain, French and Germany) began Wednesday a new meeting in Baghdad aimed at establishing progress to exit the crisis on the nuclear dossier, the AFP quoted a senior official as saying.

The P5+1 seek "to convince Iran to lessen uranium enrichment by 20% and agree on the additional Protocol while Iran seeks out lessening the sanctions imposed on it." Wednesday's meeting came after Istanbul Talks mid- April, 2012, which were the first of their kind.

Ahead of the talks, Iranian chief negotiator, Saeed Jalili, hoped "talks between Tehran and the six global powers start a new era of relations between them," as mentioned by Iranian media.
