Interior Minister Visits Policemen Injured while Carrying Out Their Duties.

Gen.

Mohammad al-Shaar on Saturday visited injured policemen and officers shot by armed groups while carrying out their duties of preserving security and preserving public property.

Minister al-Shaar relayed to the injured policemen and officers the appreciation of honest citizens of their sacrifices for the sake of Syria's security, stability and tranquility, wishing them a speedy recovery.

The Minister also lauded the efforts of medical crews to provide treatment and care for the inured policemen.

47 policemen were martyred and 875 were injured since the beginning of the events in Syria.
