InterAct Continues Global Expansion with New Offices; Creates Expanded Support Areas for Existing and New Customers.

ASHEVILLE, N.C. -- InterAct Public Safety Systems, a leading provider of public safety technology systems used by local, state, national and international government agencies, today announced the opening of it newest international field offices located in Australia, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands and four new offices in the United States, expanding into the northeast and Midwest territories. This strengthens InterAct's presence across the globe and provides additional resources for its customers and prospects.

The new northeast offices are located in West Long Branch, New Jersey; Boston, Massachusetts; and Doylestown, Pennsylvania. Prospects within the northern corner of the United States are increasingly turning to InterAct. These prospects join a long list of northeast counties, municipalities and public safety organizations that already realize the benefits of InterAct. This list includes Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania and Harford, Maryland among others. InterAct also has offices in Little Rock, Arkansas; Atlanta, Georgia; and Winston-Salem, North Carolina that continue to support the growing customer base throughout the US. Chicago, Illinois is the latest Midwest location to host InterAct offices.

While the company maintains a strong foothold in the public safety industry across the United States, InterAct is also seeing increased attention in international markets, as is evidenced by the company's continued success with its presence in Central and Eastern Europe, headquartered out of Poznan, Poland. Recently the United Nations Mission to Kosovo selected InterAct to provide superior public safety solutions in support of its work in the country.

"We have been experiencing continued and accelerating demand for the complete InterAct suite both domestically and from international customers seeking to deploy the leading public safety technology. We are also finding increased demand for our product suite from the public and private sector as they seek to address not only traditional safety issues but integrated approaches to addressing homeland security," said Andrew J. Filipowski, Chairman and CEO of InterAct.

"With this new expansion, InterAct has strengthened its reach, offering greater sales and support resources to our customers and prospects worldwide," said William Rhodes III, Executive Vice Chairman of InterAct.

InterAct provides Enhanced 9-1-1, computer-aided dispatching, geographical information systems, NCIC 2-way interface, ALI database, mapping and addressing, public safety portals, records management systems, jail management systems, fire management systems, state repository systems, emergency notifications, 3-1-1 non-emergency communications, mobile solutions, biometrics, video surveillance, document management, and inter-agency collaboration.
