Montevideo Thinks Young: Municipal Policies on Youth and Gender shares the results from a series of workshops for young people of both sexes from several countries throughout the region organized by Montevideo's municipal government (the Plan for Equal Opportunities and Rights, the Gender Equity Commission and the Women's Commission) and sponsored by the Friedrich Ebert Foundation. The workshop panels "Young People Speak Out" and "Proposals for the Construction of Youth Citizenship" were followed by a range of simultaneous working groups that analyzed the presentations and prepared final proposals.
