Intelliden Appoints Networking Executive to Board of Directors.

Jonathan Shantz, previous Cisco and Openwave Executive, joins Intelliden Board

MENLO PARK, Calif. -- Intelliden, a leading provider of Intelligent Networking solutions, today announced that Jonathan Shantz, former Cisco and Openwave executive, has joined the company's Board of Directors. Shantz is an active member of the networking community and has served as a leader and strategic contributor in networking and telecommunications for more than 25 years. Shantz is currently a board member for Bridgewater Systems, True Context, Accelere, Simplicita Software, and Fonav.

Shantz has deep experience in the networking and communications industries. His experience includes the role of Senior Vice President of Business Development at Openwave Systems. Prior to Openwave, he was General Manager of the Mobile Business Unit of Cisco Systems. Earlier at Cisco, he developed and led the Cisco Powered Networks, a premier industry alliance program, and spent several years developing new market initiatives. Prior to Cisco, Shantz oversaw most of the data networking initiatives at BT in the United Kingdom. Shantz spent the first 10 years of his career at Bell Labs and Bellcore in the services development and data networking areas.
