Intelliden Announces Standards Based Service Fulfillment Solution for Triple Play Services With Oracle's Siebel CRM and Oracle(R) Fusion Middleware.

Provides Service Fulfillment Solution Integrated With Siebel CRM Using Oracle Fusion Middleware to Enable Accurate Provisioning, Improved Quality of Service (QoS) and Lower TCO for Broadband Service Providers

MENLO PARK, Calif. -- Intelliden, a leading provider of Intelligent Networking solutions that enable organizations to control, manage and scale their networks, today announced that its R-Series[R] and Dynamic Resource Provisioning[TM] products have been successfully integrated with Oracle's Siebel CRM using Oracle[R] Fusion Middleware. The integrated solution will enable automated end-to-end service fulfillment of 'triple play' bundled services. Intelliden is a member of the Oracle PartnerNetwork.

Faced with significant competitive pressures and eroding margins, CSPs are launching bundled offerings including high speed Internet, VoIP and IPTV. Successful delivery of these 'triple play' services depends on the ability to create targeted customized offerings for customers and to accurately provision services based on real-time availability of network resources. Oracle's Siebel CRM is one of the most popular solutions for customer service and sales order management among CSPs. Intelliden provides Intelligent Networking solutions for dynamic resource provisioning and configuration management of heterogeneous IP networks. The combination of these two solutions, integrated with Oracle Fusion Middleware, enables automated end-to-end service fulfillment from customer to network. Expected benefits to CSPs include:

* Increased service revenues through targeted offers

* Guaranteed user quality of experience through dynamic allocation of network resources

* Reduced operational expenditure through increased accuracy of provisioning processes

* Lower total cost of ownership through standards-based integration of best-of-breed products

"Intelliden's integration with Siebel CRM using Oracle Fusion Middleware provides a standards-based solution for automated fulfillment of triple play services, and meets the performance and security requirements of the most complex service providers," said Rahul Sachdev, Vice President of Marketing for Intelliden.

Intelliden's solutions are built on a highly distributed and scalable architecture. Intelliden provides an abstraction layer between the service delivery layer and the underlying network. This abstraction layer translates all networking device information -- regardless of manufacturer -- into one consistent format and provides a single location where all devices can automatically be configured and changed. Intelliden also offers a rich array of web services APIs for easier integration with third party OSS and enterprise applications.

Oracle Fusion Middleware provides a common technology platform for ISVs to more easily integrate and support their entire mix of Oracle and non-Oracle enterprise applications while laying the groundwork for a service-oriented architecture (SOA). The use of Oracle Fusion Middleware to integrate ISV solutions with Oracle Applications results in additional benefits for their customers. These benefits include a more comprehensive solution based on a SOA that spans a customer's Oracle Applications and third party applications and enables a lower total cost-of-ownership, and increased agility to more easily transition to a SOA.
