Intel Atom-powered IPTV set-top box unveiled by Amino.
IPTV specialist Amino Communications has announced it has demonstrated an IPTV set-top box (STB) that is powered by the new Intel (Nasdaq:INTC) Atom Processor CE4100 (formerly codenamed 'Sodaville').
According to the company, the new generation of Amino products will address consumer demand for TV-based entertainment from any source, including broadcast, on-demand and open Internet 'Over-the-Top' (OTT) services.
