Intel Corp has released three new Intel Celeron processors - the 1.10GHz, 1GHz and 950MHz models - for the desktop value PC market segment.

Design features of the new processors include 128Kb of on-chip level 2 cache with a high-bandwidth interface to the processor core.

In 1,000-unit quantities, the 1.10GHz Intel Celeron processor is priced at USD103 while the 1GHz and 950MHz models cost USD89 and USD74 respectively. Intel's desktop Celeron processors are now available at 1.10GHz, 1GHz, 950MHz, 900MHz, 850MHz and 800MHz, all with a 100MHz system bus.
