Integra Telecom Invests $1 Million in Reno Service Area.

Competitive Business Telecom Provider Enhances Network Reliability, Expands Offering of High Bandwidth Telecom Services

RENO, Nev. -- Integra Telecom Inc., a facilities-based, integrated communications provider for business, has invested more than $1 million in its Nevada telecom infrastructure and network. By upgrading its best-in-class telecommunications network, Integra Telecom has enhanced its network reliability and product offerings to better serve business customers throughout Reno, Nev. These network enhancements now allow Integra Telecom customers in Reno, Nev., to benefit from two popular business services: Broadband Internet and Novus T-1, a dynamically integrated T-1 service (Novus T1).

"We are pleased to make such a substantial investment in the local telecommunications infrastructure and to broaden our portfolio of services to meet the growing needs of Reno businesses," said Josh Conklin, senior vice president of Integra Telecom of Nevada. "Our Broadband Internet and Novus T-1 services allow us to deliver higher levels of bandwidth to our customers, while providing the same industry-leading customer service they've come to expect."

Integra Telecom Broadband Internet

Integra's Broadband Internet products are the only offering of their kind among competitive telecom providers in Integra's territory. Integra's Broadband Internet offers enterprise-level Internet access at rates that fit the small- and medium-sized business budget. The service combines the bandwidth potential of Integra's metropolitan network infrastructure with two phone-grade copper lines to deliver download speeds of 5, 15 and 25 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 2 Mbps.

* Dedicated bandwidth: Integra's customers enjoy access to one of the finest proprietary, business-only networks in the western United States, uniquely designed to provide maximum bandwidth for businesses of all sizes. Integra Telecom's Broadband Internet delivers Internet access on dedicated circuits with bandwidth reserved exclusively for them. Integra customers leverage the power of this network and are never required to share bandwidth with other local businesses or residential users, a common disadvantage among other technologies and local networks.

* Availability: Integra's Broadband Internet service has wide availability because it relies on Integra's extensive metropolitan fiber networks together with the embedded copper wire pair technology that already has extensive coverage to businesses. Many businesses that do not have direct connections to other land-based technologies, such as fiber or cable, will find the availability of this service appealing in the Reno, Nev., metropolitan areas of Reno, Sparks and Carson City.

* Faster file transfer: Integra's Broadband Internet services offer a marked difference in upload and download speeds, providing superior access for remote users.

* Price scalability: Designed for the business community, Integra's Broadband Internet services are offered at multiple speeds and price points, allowing businesses to choose the service that meets their needs at prices that fit their budget. Depending on the location, Integra's Broadband Internet service is available from download speeds of 5 Mbps to 25 Mbps at a range of $49.95 to $90.95.

* Professional installation and care: As always, all Integra products and services are installed and supported by locally based customer care representatives and technicians.

Integra Telecom Novus T-1 Dynamically Integrated Service

Integra Telecom has expanded its Novus T-1 dynamically integrated service to include the Reno, Nev., market. The service combines local voice, long distance, and dynamically allocated Internet access on a single dedicated circuit, strengthening Integra's existing voice and data product set and allowing for faster data transport. Novus T1 increases Internet access bandwidth for Integra's customers by dynamically allocating bandwidth to either voice or Internet traffic, as needed, to provide more efficient data usage. Integra's Novus T1 service leverages the benefits of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) with the reliability of Integra's network.

Integra Telecom has served the Reno business community since acquiring Eschelon Telecom in 2007. The competitive telecom provider offers businesses a full range of business-class telecommunications products ranging from business phone lines to Broadband Internet and private network solutions. All Integra Telecom products and services are supported by locally based customer care representatives and technicians.
